Emergency Warning & Intercommunication Systems (EWIS) and Building Occupant Warning Systems (BOWS) are interconnected to either the fire detection or suppression systems to activate automatically. These systems are used to warn occupants of an emergency and assist in the evacuation of the building.
Both systems are designed and installed to meet the requirements of the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards AS1670.1 - 2004.
